HOD’s Message

Our life would be unthinkable without the use of electrical energy. The growing utilization of electrical energy is a decisive prerequisite for rapid development of industry and agriculture. This branch of engineering mainly deals with generation, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. As electrical energy is required everywhere opportunities for electrical engineers exists in every sphere of modern life from manufacturing to process industry, from robotics to embedded systems, from automobile to transport, from aviation to navigation.

The work of electrical engineer includes: Assessing the maximum demand of electrical power, designing and calculating the prospective , electrical installation and so on. They may work on design of electrical circuits, electrical machines, generation and distribution of electrical power, electrical drives and controls for various applications of electric power stations, the lighting and wiring of buildings, the design of household appliances or the electrical control of industrial machinery.
